Problem:
Some documents printed to a copier come out extremely slow. It seemed to be only certain, scanned PDF's that the Savin would really hang up on, about a page every 30 seconds.
Solution:
After much running around, trying different scenarios, drivers and hardware, we found that the copier had an old HDD in it which was set to fat16 and caused a quagmire of conversion, trying to get the data printed correctly. A quick upgrade by our copier techs (shoutout to ABR of Savannah!) to a larger, more modern HDD in the right format quickly alievated the issue.
Other:
It wasn't an issue on their XP installations but it became slow after we migrated to a terminal server.
