Making money online:
Youtube (goog)- create user account/channel and upload videos to it. your videos get enough views, you are paid per view, fame
Blogger (goog)- Have information that would attract others? News? Reviews? Tips, tricks, recipes, opinions. Can you think of any information someone would search or want to read or view? Paid per page view, donation, lesser fame
both of those have SIMPLE monetization: just click "Add adsense" and choose how many
Flickr(yahoo)- scale photos (preview & purchase), upload them, label them correctly and hope someone clicks "license this photo"
Furthermore, if you use flickr and youtube, you can tie it all together in blogger, blogging using your videos and images
